This veggie stir-fry is made with a simple sauce that includes hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and sesame seed oil, and it’s a cinch to make. Serve this stir-fry over your favourite grain and enjoy!

Ingredients
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1-2 large garlic cloves -finely grated
1 (227 g) container cremini mushrooms -sliced
3 mini peppers -sliced
1 medium broccoli crown -cut into medium pieces
1 medium zucchini -cut into rounds
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp sesame seed oil
1/2 tbsp honey
Pinch of red pepper flakes

Directions
- Pour the oil in a medium size pan and heat on medium.
- When the oil is heated, add the garlic, and cook for a minute or two.
- Add the mushrooms and mix often so the mushrooms don’t burn. Reduce the heat a little if needed.
- When the mushrooms begin to soften, add the rest of the veggies. Mix often.
- As the veggies cook, mix together the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame seed oil, honey, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- When the veggies are almost cooked to your liking, add in the sauce, and mix well. Cook for a few minutes.
- Serve the stir-fry on top of your favourite grain and drizzle some sauce on top.
