Deviled eggs are such a classic and it’s one of the simplest appetizers that can be made. These little gems are perfect for the holiday season and they’re always a hit at parties and family gatherings.
But if you’re like me, you enjoy them as an evening snack with your favourite bread.
Ingredients
10 hard boiled eggs (large eggs) -cooled completely
5-6 tbsp mayonnaise
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
Pinch of paprika
1/2 tbsp fresh dill -roughly chopped
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
- Peel the shells off the eggs and cut the eggs in half.
- Scoop out the egg yolks and put them into a bowl. Using an electric mixer on low speed, break up the egg yolks.
- Add in 3 tbsp of mayonnaise, the Dijon mustard, paprika, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix on medium-low speed.
- Add in the remaining mayonnaise and mix until smooth.
- Pipe the mixture into the hollow part of each egg.
- Place the eggs in a covered container until ready to serve.
